Who is She?

Jude is a native New Yorker who first felt inspired to imagine a world other than her own and write about it in her third grade open classroom at P.S. 13 in Corona, Queens.  She holds a B.A. in English from Marymount Manhattan College and an M.F.A. from Emerson College, where she was mentored by Andre Dubus III (House of Sand and Fog, Garden of the Last Days).  Jude is also a two-time participant of the Sewanee Writers’ Conference (2002, 2006).

After toiling her days away as an executive recruiter, Jude devotes her evenings and weekends to her latest novel, tentatively titled Pas de Trois.  Meanwhile, her previous novel, What Hurts., sits on various desks of various editors at various publishing houses, batting its eyelashes and waiting to be discovered.

Jude currently lives in Queens with her most amusing muse and highly significant other, Ken.  When not working, she enjoys cooking, dance, independent and foreign films and, most of all, international travel.
